CSUN / UNAM STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL
MAY 3 – JUNE 3, 2023

The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences in conjunction with the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication have organized an exclusive online event to showcase the creative contributions of film students from both film schools, the Escuela Nacional de Artes Cinematográficas UNAM (ENAC UNAM) and CSUN Department of Cinema and Television Arts. The film fest represents the hard work of faculty and students at both institutions who want to share the artistic, professional, and cultural accomplishments of these films.

For this year’s film fest, a special selection of 20 short films spanning from stories of grit and survival to the touching potential of humanity will be available May 3, 2023 – June 3, 2023. On May 18, 2023, we will host a panel discussion of the four winners of “Best Film” and a facilitated conversation with filmmakers representing both schools.

La Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y del Comportamiento junto con la Facultad de Artes, Medios y Comunicación Mike Cur  han organizado un evento exclusivo en línea para mostrar las contribuciones creativas de los estudiantes de cine de ambas escuelas de cine, la Escuela Nacional de Artes Cinematográficas UNAM (ENAC UNAM) y CSUN Departamento de Artes de Cine y Televisión. El festival de cine representa el arduo trabajo de profesores y estudiantes de ambas instituciones que desean compartir los logros artísticos, profesionales y culturales de estas películas.

 

Para el festival de cine de este año, una selección especial de 20 cortometrajes que abarcan desde historias de valor y supervivencia hasta el conmovedor potencial de la humanidad estará disponible del 3 de mayo de 2023 al 3 de junio de 2023. El 18 de mayo de 2023, presentaremos un panel de discusión de los cuatro ganadores de “Mejor Película” y una conversación facilitada con los cineastas que representan a ambas escuelas.
